PERFECT FIFTH. The most solid of all of the
intervals -- you serve as a foundation upon
which everyone else builds themselves. You
believe in simple truths, and think most of
that "emanipation of the dissonance"
talk should be taken with a pillar of salt.
Beloved by Medieval and early 20th century
composers, you should avoid walking in the same
cardinal direction as any of your like-minded
friends. We wouldn't want any parallel fifths,
you know...
What musical interval are you?

I DID IT!!!
Mark this day. It is the day I finished writing my personal statement for graduate school. I am very proud of myself, that is that I finished it. Is it a piece of crapola....yes I think so. But who cares about that...it is done.
I am sorry that I have been neglectful of my updating here. The conference was a trip. I learned a couple of little things, but I am superbly impressed with our operation. Anyways, last week I spent writing a huge mofo of a report on it. I guess the writing of the report massaged me into writing my personal statement. Last friday I hung out with some new friends...in a very very cold apartment watching the big lebowski. then saturday, in a feat of female wonderment, beckie and i constructed her impressive tv stand. Then we made cookies and watched crazy halloweenish sort of movies. The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra....I sleep now!!!! muuuuuaaahhahahaha!!!
I am debating whether or not to go up to dickinson two weekends from now...i miss everyone terribly but i can't just give up a perfectly good weekend of studying...especially since i haven't studied...at all!!! Talk about me turning into a procrastinator. W-T-F, duuude....W-T-F???
Anyways work time is almost over...I'm getting out of here...to only get wet as i go to my car.

October?!?!?!
It can't be October?!?!?! I guess it is then. Time keeps slipping by. Ugh.
Next week is Ohio-conference time. I can't wait to go, but then again I feel weird going. I know that athena and i will have a good go of it. Should be interesting to see how all these other math labs are set up, see if we really are a rarity in the way we run the lab.
I can't bring myself to write my personal statement. I have recently had it stuck in my head to screw grad school, i lack all self-confidence in getting in. Every time I think about writing my personal statement my head goes-> wouldn't it just be more logical to take the praxis, spend less money and be in a higher paying job in under a year? It hit me hard, two days ago when the gre moved up the registration date for the subject tests. I nearly broke down over whether or not to sign up again to take a test that i know will rape my confidence for the next 2 or 3 months. In the end I pulled out my credit card and registered for the test. I think I am a masochist. No one in their right mind would take that test more than once. I guess that means I'll have to write this personal statement very soon. Maybe this weekend?? I doubt it. I'm the biggest procrastinator ever.
Anyways that is my life. Me trying to avoid the big stuff. Nothing else really going on. catch you all later.
