raindrops keep fallin’ on my head…

Well, I suppose it is time for a birthday update. Do I feel different? No. Do I feel better? No. Do I feel worse? Quite possibly so.

On Tuesday, I was surfing the web to find to my absolute joy and pleasure, that Apple had finally released their new imac computer ( http://www.apple.com/imac ). Now I have been waiting almost a year to get myself a new computer. My ibook (4 years old) has had several massive identity crises while I’ve had it. I was seriously considering, right before senior year, getting a new computer. But I talked myself out of it, thinking I could make it last one more year if I had to. I just really needed it to write papers and work instant messenger. Well the year went alright, it had another identity crisis as well as the cd-rom drive becoming a temperamental little bass-turd. All spring I’ve had my eye on the new G5 powermac machines. Super duper out of my price range. But once they unveiled this new computer, I knew this was the one...love at first sight. Well I get home, tell my parents all about it. Dad says…you don’t need one. We have two computers, you can use those. It isn’t like you need it. My mom somewhat came to my defense. But we all know me...what did I agree to...no computer. I’ll keep using my crappy old laptop...the concession I got was there is a phone line in your room so you can hook up the laptop to phone up in your room. Yippee-friggin’-do.

Yesterday, I spent most of my day at work trying to check out all the Master’s programs in the state of NJ. Most depressing thing I think I’ve done ever. Because of my work schedule, I can only take classes...either really early (8 am) in the morning or late at night (after 7). Well no school here…and I mean no, cause I’ve checked every single one, has any classes that fit in there. Screw me. There goes plan number 2 down the toilet. Yet again I make the mistake of telling my parents about it. My dad says, well then you need to leave your job in a year and get yourself out. Because if you’ve been out of school longer than a year, you’ll lose everything. Mom was little better. Ugh, I feel sick.

All I am trying to do is be...my own autonomous entity. I’m slowly realizing that it is really hard to do when you are still at home with your parents. They seem to have an opinion on every aspect of my life, if I tell them about it. I want to talk to them, but then I get preached at what is the best way to solve my problem. I don’t want that. I want to figure it out myself. But goodness, I am getting sick and tired of it. I am a smart intelligent person, or so I dilute myself. If I have questions or problems, I am not afraid to ask, but god, if I don’t ask, I don’t want to know.

Musical Interlude...Gavin deGraw’s I Don’t Wanna Be, the chorus...it is just a catchy tune, I might have to buy it from iTunes soon:

I don't want to be
Anything other than what I've been trying to be lately
All I have to do
Is think of me and I have peace of mind
I'm tired of looking 'round rooms
Wondering what I've got to do
Or who I'm supposed to be
I don't want to be anything other than me

But on the happy birthday side of things:

My brother is super awesome. He sent me a Marcus Vick jersey, and get this...it actually is the right size. Wahooo. I heart Matt and football. I’ll be stylin’ it sometime soon.

Dana sent me this cute card, which Chloe picked out. It had a pug on it and everything. But she said a present was coming soon. Oooooo. I’m super excited about it. I heart presents.

Speaking of presents, Suzer also sent me something in the mail. She gave me these two super a-dork-able notebooks, one that has on the front Science Rocks and the other has I (picture of a calculator) Math. sigh...in heaven.

If you don’t think I say this enough…here it goes: I really miss my housie gals. Life doesn’t seem so carefree or full of adventure as it once was. I think I owe the fact that I’m not a mentally insane person to you all.

Well, life is crazy. I suppose I need to come up with a new life plan now, continue to use my slow little clamshell computer, and decide whether or not do anything this weekend. Right now I don’t know…maybe I’ll just redo my bedroom instead of go out, it is in dire need of redesign.

thanks...and oh yeah, happy birthday to me.

Start of classes...but not for me.

Oh it feels so odd to not be at Dickinson, running around like a chicken with my head cut off, worrying about this or that class, and what books I need. But good luck to everyone who happened to start today, including the Suzer, who is super awesome taking grad courses.

Speaking of Dickinson, I went up on last Friday. It felt so…different. Walking around campus, felt good in a creepy nostalgic way. yikes! Got to see my Infernos, yeeey. Happy Birthdayness to Jess and Jason, cause their birthday is the same as mine!! The actual performance didn’t go beautifully, but I really don’t have to worry about that much. I handed off my version of Good Vibrations to Karena, so I am pretty much done. Done, Done Done. I also got to hang out with the townhouse boys. Sam, Ben, Giesey, and Chris are the super awesomest! We went to Marketcross. Oh that felt good. So good, a good couple of beers and good company. We came back to their house, to find a huge party going on. And fancy that, Geoffy was there. It was good to see him, but after all of last year, it’s definitely sunk in that we won’t be anywhere near as close as we were at the end of junior year. sigh. But all in all, the trip was a success. Yey for having some place to crash if I ever came up again…hurray boys’ futon! *my story might have been more detailed if I had written it when I got back. I’m just super lazy here at work.*

Sunday evening I decided to go see the movie Garden State by Zach Braff, you know that guy who plays on Scrubs. After having sometime to think about it, I really did like the movie. Something about it, just really connected with my life right now. The general malaise, inability to do anything, trying to breakaway and become your own self, it was so good. The movie had it’s dark moments, but it also had some side-stitching parts, where I suppose if you were in Jersey you would totally get. Like this one part where you see this guy dressed up in full armor. The guy works at Medieval Times. Just something about the fact that before the character even says he works there, you know he works at MT cause you live in Jersey. The two just go hand in hand. Well, not to mention that a xc teammate of mine works there, so that makes it about 15 times more hilarious. But this is just funny:

Sam (Natalie Portman’s character): Hey, I recognize you from T.V. Didn't you play the retarded quarterback?
Andrew Largeman (Zach Braff’s character, he’s a struggling actor): Yea
Sam : Are you really retarded?
Andrew Largeman : No

Well the bit that really got me was this right here, cause I think this sums up everything about post college life:

Andrew Largeman : You know that point in your life when you realize the house you grew up in isn't really your home anymore? That idea of home is gone. Maybe that's all family really is. A group of people who miss the same imaginary place.

Sigh, so go and see this movie if you have the time too. The more I think about it, the more I like it.

Hmm what else? Today I emailed the Graduate Director at the Rutgers Math department for info about the graduate program there. Hopefully I can get things to work out so that Brookdale will pay for some of my classes while I get my Masters degree. Then I think I will get the heck out of here and find myself a Ph. D program. On Friday, I am getting my haircut. I think it will be short. I can’t stand dealing with it anymore. So it is going bye bye. Saturday, my parents have tickets to see RU football, so I’m going to hang out with them for the afternoon. I am also trying to figure out something fun to do for my birthday. Like an outing or something of that nature. Everything is so expensive here though. The only thing I could come up with is: 1. brave the craziness at the beach, or 2. on Sunday in Waterloo there will be the Rockin’ Oldies Wine Festival, wine tasting, fun, games, and such. I’d love to try to go into the city to see a show, but that would be really out of my price range. Oh well, I am spent. Ugh it’s 2 pm and I still have 3 more hours of work :oP

One week til…my birthday!

So I’m mildly excited. I didn’t realize my birthday was coming up until yesterday when I actually looked at my planner for September. I sat there staring at the page with the 2nd on it, thinking there is something important going on that day. Isn’t it horrible that I can barely remember my own birthday?!?!?

Work has been…well, somewhat interesting. It has taken me three weeks before the workplace drama has kicked in. Oh the craziness. So I am still trying to get myself adjusted. In the meantime, I have had the ability to read some books while I sit around at work. Right now, I’m about halfway through the 9/11 commission report. Not exactly something you would think that I would read. But I find it really interesting to get a look at how all of the governmental agencies interact with one another, how long we’ve known about bin Ladin, and all of the denied attempts at trying to shut him and al Qaeda down. Once I finish with that riveting read, I have a copy of Wicked (you know the musical on broadway) that I would like to read, and Emma by Jane Austen. It happens to be one of the few Austen books that have escaped my reading it in entirety. So that leaves my excited, somewhat.

Yesterday, Beckie came over after work. We decided we needed a movie to chill out to. So, we watched Ella Enchanted, with that Anne Hathaway from Princess Diaries and Cary Elwes from Princess Bride and Robin Hood: Men in Tights. It was adorable. We chowed down on some munchkins and popcorn. It was a nice relaxing evening, considering we both had work the next day.

I am getting ready for my first trip back to Dickinson tomorrow. Saturday, the Infernos are going to be performing at the Orientation Olympics. So I am going to help them get some new recruits, hopefully. While I am there, I am going to stop by the boys’ townhouse at some point or another. I miss having some place to go and party and hang out. I can’t wait to see all of my infernos and everyone else, and walk around campus.

Plans are getting more definite to go and visit cryssy, suzer, and hester. It’ll probably be in September- one of the weekends around the 20th. But the gals can decide which weekend, cause I think the 20th is a Wednesday. I am also going to try and coordinate a trip with Dana to see Laurie in Virginia, and maybe we could set it up so that we can visit Linnea since she is down there as well. Oh I can’t wait til Abby gets to Long Island for her job in September…that means someone else I can visit. Plus, that is great cause we can traipse around the city.

I can’t really think of much else. I have to admit, that I am surprised at myself of the length of my posts to this LJ. I do not consider myself a writer by any means. I usually have the hardest time writing things out in any format. This just seems so much easier. Well, I should have some stories once I get back from Carlisle so until then…

Much love and sunshine!

at work…yet again.

So it is Monday of week 2 between semesters. Yet again I have so little on my plate, that if I don’t find something to do, I’ll fall asleep here at my desk. Today is the day that my parents finally make their way back to NJ. Hurray, no more foraging for food cause I have no time to go food shopping. Also great, cause then the poor pupper won’t be super depressed anymore.

Sad to say it, but Kona got so depressed with Matt heading off to Virginia. Normally, my dog doesn’t give two poops where the heck I am in the house. He was so down that he literally followed me all over the house. Plus, he has made himself so sick…wheezing episodes plus a new crazy thing he did that just scared the bejezus out of me. What is worse is that his poor nose has been all dry and stuffy. So there must be something wrong with him. Hopefully with the folks back, Kona will be his old self again.

I am feeling a little better about life as a whole, although I know that I am still not where I am supposed to be. More work is to be done and I need to not be lazy and get my butt in gear.

Thank god today is the last day of gymnastics in the olympics, because it has been the reason I don’t get any sleep. Paul Hamm, my hero. Okay, now that I’ve mentioned him like 3 times, I guess I owe you all a reason for my gymnastics affinity. Many years ago, when I was much smaller than I am today, my first love of sport came in the form of tumbling. By the age of 8, I had exhausted all possible avenues, ie every tumbling class one could think of taking…I took. So what did that mean, my parents got me involved in the local gymnastics factory as I like to call it. I took a couple of classes there. To everyone’s wonderment, by about 9 and a half I was beginning to tackle each of the different events: vault (I could at that point run and jump onto the top of the vault then jump off from a standing position. yes I know not the amazing abilities one sees in the olympics but I was friggin’ 9 for cryin’ out loud.), uneven bars (I could jump myself onto the bars and swing back between the bars, but yet again no fancy schmancy moves.), balance beam (scarily enough, the younger version of myself didn’t fall down nearly as much as my olderself now does. I could easier traverse the beam, and on fairly good days I could do cartwheels along the beam.), and floor, which is the reason why I am no longer in gymnastics. Floor was by far the easiest for me, with all of my tumbling experience. But one day, Theresa…following directions like she is supposed to, gets kicked in the eye by the girl in front of her. I go down, thank goodness I had closed my eyelid right before her toes hit my eyes or else I would not be able to see out my right eye. Much bleeding ensued and thus ended my olympic dreams. It is just the freckly-ness of Paul and his brother Morgan just make me think of myself and the fact that I pulled myself out because of some silly girls’ foot in my face. And yes, I go through this craziness every four years, and to tell you the truth…anytime I see a gymnastics event on tv. Sigh. Great little tidbit of Theresa knowledge that I am sure you didn’t even know about.

Changing gears, I miss my little bro. Weird huh…it isn’t like the situation has changed much. We are still in two totally different places. But him being at school, it is just weird while I am here at home. He’ll be alright though, I know it. That and he im’s me now and again to ask questions and what not. Sigh.

Well, I guess I am off, considering I have all of 30 minutes left here at work.

what a pretty sunset!

Oh my. Life is…so not how I pictured it would be.

Okay, this entry is a little bit different from my other posts. I suppose it will show my very odd musings over the past few days.

Life is moving so quickly in an odd sort of way. For those of you who really know me, you know that I really have had no direction in life. I could never see into my future. In no way can I, even now, profess what I would like to do, or where I would like to be in a year, 3 years, 5 years, 10 years. To which end, I see my future not painted in beautiful colors creating a wonderful canvas. On the contrary, it is quite a dark void space.

As if this were something wholly awful, I must say that I have been what one would call fortunate. This brings me to my next point. I have always at some point or another had a feeling, or instinct you might say, or even gut feeling, about whether things were going well. As of right now, I have this horrible notion in the pit of my stomach. Everything is not where it is supposed to be. This job, is not for me. Being at home is not where I am supposed to be. Everything is just…not right.

I know that I need to do something. I have competing, I guess you could call them, feelings, or maybe they aren’t competing at all. I realize I’m not where I should be. But I also feel like, there is something big that I should be doing. Some event that I should be a major part of. Yet with all this, I know not what it is, or where I should be. I am at such a loss, and state of confusion.

Ugh. Back to normal programming-> I went to mass this evening...very cute guy there. Yum yum yum. And such happiness with Paul Hamm winning gymnastics gold. Yum to the 4th power as I would say. Sigh.

I feel this is a great song…and you all should know it. It is written by Avril Lavigne and sung by Kelly Clarkson. Oh yes the humanity of Theresa liking a crazy pop song.

Grew up in a small town
And when the rain would fall down
I'd just stare out my window
Dreaming of what could be
And if I'd end up happy
I would pray

Trying hard to reach out
But when I tried to speak out
Felt like no one could hear me
Wanted to belong here
But something felt so wrong here
So I'd pray
I could break away

I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly.
I'll do what it takes till I touch the sky.
Make a wish, take a chance,
Make a change, and break away.
Out of the darkness and into the sun.
But I won't forget all the ones that I love.
I'll take a risk, take a chance,
Make a change, and break away

Wanna feel the warm breeze
Sleep under a palm tree
Feel the rush of the ocean
Get onboard a fast train
Travel on a jetplane
Far away
And break away

I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly.
I'll do what it takes till I touch the sky.
Make a wish, take a chance,
Make a change, and break away.
Out of the darkness and into the sun.
I won't forget all the ones that I love.
I gotta take a risk, take a chance,
Make a change, and break away

Buildings with a hundred floors
Swinging with revolving doors
Maybe I don’t know where they’ll take me but
Gotta keep movin on movin on
Fly away
Break away

I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly.
Though it’s not easy to tell you goodbye
Take a risk, take a chance,
Make a change, and break away.
Out of the darkness and into the sun.
But I won't forget the place I come from
I gotta take a risk, take a chance,
Make a change, and break away
Breakaway
Break away

Only one more day of work this week

Alrighty…

The concert was such a trip. I feel so exhausted after the past couple of days but the concert was fun. Details, details, details are what follows.

Dana’s mom dropped her off at my work just a little after 5. So we hopped in my car, got on the Parkway, and in no time were at the PNC Bank Arts Center exit.

Warning: Apparently, I must have been sending out crazy signals to every frat boy, and 35-45 year old guy there. I have quite a way of attracting the wacko nut job crowd.

So I follow the people who are directing the parking to a spot. Not something uncommon. They direct me to an open spot between two cars. Well, the two cars are people who know each other…and they are all tailgating, hoping to save the spot for some other friends of theirs. These guys proceed to get in a yelling match with the parking dude over whether or not I should park there. They make me park there. The guys say they are going to make the time miserable there. Not much I could do then cause they closed off the rest of the parking area. Thank goodness the one guy’s girlfriend was like, hey guys…she’s only doing what they told her to do. She won’t get in the way.

So, Dana and I get out of the car…have some yummy sub sandwiches, mine was a meatball sub. Scrumdidiliumscious! Plus I got a little present…another Glow-In-The-Dark Condom. yeeeey. We, and when I say we, I mean Dana, inconspicuously, jotted down the guys license plates numbers in case my poor car had any damage to it when we got back.

We enter PNC with no problems. I call my mom just to let her know what was going on. We both decide a potty trip would be in order, and got on the super long line. Yuck, is all I have to say about that. I’d pay an extra 10 bucks if I could get someone to clean one of those toilets before I use it.

We make our way to our seats, which are super awesome although on the end of the row, under the covering. They had some DJ out playing songs. He wasn’t that great. Then our weird wacko nearby seat neighbors finally joined us in the surrounding rows.

Culprit number 1: About 40 year old guy…maybe a bit younger, came with either his wife or girlfriend. Drunk before the band really gets into things. Touches Dana’s…backside as he steps by us saying, “I love this stuff”. He gyrates (bad dancing) the rest of the way to his seat. About part of the way just at the start of John Mayer’s set he has to pass cause he…needs a beer. He grabs us both and says, “I love you guys. Do you want a beer? I’ll get you both a beer.” Dana and I exchange scared crazy glances, while both shaking our heads. “I’ll get you one beer and you two can split it.” We finally get up enough courage to tell him no thanks. The guy behind me, Culprit number 2 (more on him later), taps me on the shoulder after the guy 1 leaves and says, “Hey you should have gotten me the beer. Next time ask him for a beer and give it to me.” Back to guy 1, he comes back from getting his beer. He thanks us again for being so super awesome, and manages to dribble beer on the edge of Dana’s capri pants. Not cool. Halfway through the set, guess what happens, guy 1 needs to use the rest rooms. He comes past us again, this time saying, “You guys are good for not drinking beer. This is what it does to you.” Guy number 2 asks me why I didn’t ask him for a beer. Bah. Guy 1 comes back, this time with a cookie. “Hey take my cookie….no have a piece I swear.” I take a piece of cookie, just so that he would leave and go back to his seat, which he did. I, then after having to talk to guy number 2 about not getting a beer, proceed to drop the cookie inconspicuously on the ground. Who knows where that cookie has been. We managed to leave the concert before we had have any more encounters with guy number 1.

Culprit number 2: The guy…mid 20s sitting behind me. Loves John Mayer. Decides he is going to whistle whenever there was a lull in the screaming. First time makes me jump. Luckily he sees me do it, and apologizes. I ask him (wrong thing to do, don’t ever do this, cause then the feel the need to talk to you afterwards) to just tap me on the should before he does it so that I can stuff my fingers in my ears. His girlfriend was good and kept reminding him to do it before he whistled…not so bad. But yeah, no ear drums afterwards. Plus, all of his shenanigans dealing with guy number 1.

Culprit number 3: 50 some-odd year old lady, drunk, in heels. I needed to go to the bathroom. You would have thought after my first experience with the bathroom that I could just hold it and wait til we got back to Dana’s. NOPE. I’m almost finished in my stall, when there is a big splash from the stall next to me. I look down to see a knocked over beer cup, and hear, “Damnit, I spilt my beer!!” I look down and the bottom half of my pants were splotchy with beer stains. Yuck. She managed to actually get me from under the stall wall. Crazy, I know. No fun, by then both Dana and I had been attacked by beer.

So how was the concert you ask? It was good. Maroon 5 was great. John Mayer impressed me. He’s a very adept guitar player. So all in all a good show. We leave a tiny bit early…my car is fine, and it takes us about 20-30 minutes to get to Dana’s house.

That was our crazy adventure. I don’t think I missed anything. I can’t wait to go home from work, and maybe watch the men’s all around competition for gymnastics. oooo Paul Hamm, cute and freckly, like me!

Bye bye!

uber tired

So, yeah, work is quite a tad bit slower than usual. Go figure, since there are no students here to help. At least for the next 3 weeks I have Fridays off. yippeee!!!

Last weekend, I did nothing. I am the least exciting person in the world. Well, I did do some stuff, but nothing awe-inspiring.

I went to Target last Friday and picked up a whole slew of items that would soon become a care package for my brother. I feel kinda bad that I can't help him move in to VT, seeing as he helped me move in on several occasions. So I thought a super cool, huge care package in his mailbox would do that trick. I bought him a whole bunch of snacks, a dry erase board, rope lights, a blockbuster gift card, popcorn, an itunes gift card, a print out of his fall schedule (hourly, day by day business), a couple of disposable cameras, and a photo album of random pictures from disney to wedding to our grad party with some space for those pictures he takes with the cameras. Along with each item a wrote a little note from me. Like, "don't use the popcorn button on the microfridge cause it will set off the firealarm." I tried, but I am not the creative person that some other people are. So it's the best he is going to get.

The rest of the weekend I sat realizing that it was only a couple of days til the Maroon 5 concert.

So today in about a half hour or so, I get to meet up with Dana and we are going to head over to the Maroon 5 and John Mayer concert at the PNC Bank Arts Center. Yeey, outdoor concertness. Then I'll stay over Dana's house and then try to get to work on time tomorrow morning. Ugh the craziness. On thursday my parents and brother leave to make their way to Virginia, so I have run of the house, dog and everything else.

At least by tonight I have made it through the hump of the work week. Friday is a day off and then I can have some fun.

Ugh, I am sooooo tired, I'm almost falling asleep here at my desk, I guess I need to get a pick me up before I start driving. Damn me for staying up to watch the olympics. (I have a thing for gymnastics...men's gymnastics. sigh...Hamm brothers...yummy. maybe one day I'll tell my gripping tale of how I...bled my way out of the gymnastics world.)

Anyways, I'll catch ya later.

I could just fall right to sleep…

Well, I am at work, again. Not too much to do. Not that I am complaining or anything crazy like that. I just feel like I lack energy to do much of anything. But there is a perfectly good reason for that.

So what does that mean…It is story time.

This past Thursday I had off from work. It was a good thing too since I woke up with a massive migraine headache and a very tiny squeaky voice. So I spent most of the day asleep, or popping sudafeds and excedrins in my mouth. That evening was the rehearsal dinner for the wedding. It was a nice evening out. I got to meet all of the groomsmen and the groom’s mom. Everyone else I knew or had seen before. I got a nice bottle of wine out of the deal for my anticipated helping out with the wedding.

Friday- I left my house and drove over to Colts Neck to have my TB test read. I am all clear. No TB for Theresa. I continued on to work. Didn’t do anything super stressful. I was able to finagle my way to get out a little early. I drove quickly home so that I could change and beautify myself. I work the typical little black dress, and I did my own hair. Well, I had a little help from my mom. I looked good. Still felt sick, but I had my duty to do. I showed up at the church around the same time the groom and the groomsmen got there. My job, I didn’t choose to accept it, was to greet people as then entered and hand them programs. At the end of the wedding, I was supposed to stand at the end of the receiving line with rose petals and have guests take them to toss at the bride and groom. I had a lot of fun with the guys….reminding them groom’s guests go on the right and bride’s guests go on the left, pinning several of them with corsages. Without injury I might add. They were all very cute and handsome. :::sigh::: The wedding was beautiful. It went off without too much of a hitch. Some minor things happened, but that is to be expected. The reception was at the Forsgate Country Club. Was pretty, but I don’t think I would like my reception there, if I ever get married. At the reception, I met up with all of the Pic’s, saw Joe, who I haven’t seen in years. Joe and I are 2 weeks apart in age. We used to hang out all the time cause the Pic’s, the Slic’s and my family all used to live on the same block. Way back in the day, my dad and Mr. Pic used to constantly make comments on how Joe and I would end up getting married one day. Haha, we hardly even talk now. My brother talked more to Joe than I did at the reception. I also got to hang out with all of the Normants. Kimmy and her husband Bobby, who I had never met before, were a riot. She and I get along really well. We had so much fun just dancing and drinking. Our table was right by one of the open bars. I did get to sit next to Michael (yes, him from about 20 posts ago), he is Kimmy’s brother. We chatted. It was nice. I haven’t talked to a guy in ages from what I remember. Good change of pace. Mr. Normant came over to me later in the evening and said…we’ll be seeing you soon during a daddy daughter dance. What does everyone else know that I don’t??? Even my parents were like…oooo you get to see Michael again. Yes, the pairing would make loads of people happy, I am sure. But that won’t happen anytime soon. Especially when Michael would watch Joe’s sister Chrissy, she was the maid of honor, and then proceed to comment about her to me. The food was alright, even though it was served at 11:15 at night. Throughout the evening I slowly lost my voice. That was fun.

I slept most of the day on Saturday, to only wake up with no voice. At least I didn’t have the migraine headache. Sunday was more of the same, trying to swallow, have no voice, and feeling congested. Monday I showed up to work. Finally, I broke down and called my doctor for an appointment. I crashed my brother’s board game playing evening by telling his friends to be quiet while I tried to go to bed early. This morning I went to the doctor. I have a sinus infection, cause for all of my pain and agony of the past 5 days.

What did I learn- Don’t wait five days to go to the doctor if you have something wrong with you, it will only make you miserable until you do. My colleagues at work are great, easygoing people who are willing to switch their schedules around if you aren’t feeling well, or have some big events going on in your life. In the tiny lovelife corner of my brain, I’ve noticed, it doesn’t matter where I go, what type of clothes I wear, or how good my hair looks, I will always be second to some other girl in the room. Even if I am the only gal in the room, it is assured that a dog, cat or other animal will get more attention then I will.

If anyone has any time Friday or Saturday and would like to hang out, I would love to have something to do with my nonexistent life.

Quick

I just wanted to quickly say hello. The wedding...was well an experience. It gave me a lot to think about. Like, If i ever found the right person, how I would like my guests to experience the whole shin dig. I suppose it was fun to dress up up...but then again, I'm not a dressy up sort of gal. Got to see a whole bunch of people I haven't seen in a while. I need to seriously sit down and type of the details before you all get any sort of story.

Blah. Catch ya laters.
